  RenaultSport clio 172 mk2
i`ve seen a few pics of 172/182s now with the `fingers` polished, i dont know what this part is called but it runs over the top of the engine in to the inlet manifold and is covered by that horrible plastic guard. who does this polishing ? how much? and what do you call the part?:D

speak to fred, last time I heard he has one already polished, so he can do a swap with yours.

I think its called the plenum now.

If you do it yourselves the best way is to use sandpaper, not a rotary tool as it takes too much metal off if you are nto careful.

I'll be doing mine soon.

its name is the inlet plenham but is often referred to as the inlet manifold (even tho the manifold is below it)
u can go to any metal polishers and request to have it done
the price is around 10-20 quid for the fuel rail cover and around 50-60 quid for the plenham!
i did mine myself and the cost of materials was a tenner and i still have loads left :D
