172 Seats and Suspension

Got a 172 cup and wanting to change the standard seats for some buckets. what are my options with mounting them ?? can i get side mounts and bolt directly to the floor ? Also the car handles v well as it is but will a slightly lower set of springs and strut braces front and back stiffen up the ride at all ?

You want some Sportlines and a rear arb.

I do have strut braces too but I'm not 100% convinced they do a great deal. Love my Sportlines and the arb though.

Sportlines ?? was looking at that ARB kit from ktec and that is definitely on my list of things to do v soon

Eibach Sportlines.

It will lower a little but not a massive amount

Sportlines are a type of spring made by Eibach mate, they are the best springs on the market for the mk2 rs

The eibach springs are a good price from ktec but they have a special on raceland coilovers so im torn between which ones too order ?

OEM cup suspension > Raceland (aka Facepalmland) coilovers. If you want coilover you'll need to invest at least 700 quid or you'll make handling go shocking

agree with the above, wouldnt be touching coilovers unless i had money for a set of H&R's/Bilsteins or atleast higher spec FK's.

brand new genuine dampers and eibachs would be my choice!

general concensus is sportlines on standard shocks then. Are the whiteline arb's easy to fit too ?
