172 sport -----> 172 cup

Car  172 phaseII
Has anybody made this move? If so what are your thoughts?
There is a cup down by me for sale and I fancy trading it in for it. My car is a y-plate and the cups a 54.

Totally confused really fancy going down now to do the swap!

Two reasons for the swap:
1. My car has curb rash, couple of door dents, chip in my skirt, dent in my bonnet. Thyre not major but I know they exist! -- Cup is immaculate!
2. My car is on 48k need to get my cambelt changed sharpish, -- cup is on 19k.

mondial Blue.. when clean in the sunshine & the turinis .. thats what sold the Cup to me :-)
never regretted it..

Although i have never been in/driven a FF sport myself. so can't comment on the differences between the 2.

Suppose it depends on how much they'll give you for yours...
It'll be nice to have a bit of warranty again..lower mileage (although do't they get faster with more miles ;-).. no cam belt to be done.

why would you do it? I would spend the cash on ya full fat. wot you get for your money is pants, maybe you should look at a full fat Mk2 or a 182.

Save ya pennies

the closest you'll get to a rs-1 is the cup! it pure enjoyment and its very raw. However if you want luxury over the sensation of seemingly going faster get a FF 182 or 172.
