172 springs on a valver

Car  ph1 172
Ive heard a couple of times that the 172 springs will fit in valver shocks, how about 182 etc.

Im guessing they will be a lot harder, will they lower the car, if at all?

I've got some 172 springs on my Williams. Are the cup springs any differant? Could be worth considering if you want something a little differant?

Cup springs are slightly lower -10mm I think.

Don't quote me, but I believe they will only fit a 182 FF not a cupped varient.

cup springs lower about between 3-6mm, so not a lot.

if u are looking to buy brand new, u will b better getting custom made ones to wat ever spec u want, will work out cheaper than buying springs from renault, ive looked into this, will not b getting springs from any dealer , over priced!

its just there are so many 172/182 standard springs about on ebay etc that i thought that if they would make a difference to my valver i would consider it.

I cant afford coilovers insurance-wise and if i was swapping with a standard renault part i wouldnt bother declairing
