172 suspension conversion

Hey all

Is it possible to convert a 1.2 16v 51 plate to run with 172 suspension, like convert it to a 172 setup? If so what parts and work would be needed and need to be carried out?

yes, but its quite major!

hubs, uprights, wishbones, ARB, driveshafts

nowt wrong with the 1.2 setup, i run it on my dynacup

not standard shock and springs though are they fred?

no, but everything else is

how do the drive shafts cope with the increase in torque/power with the f4r? everything else strength wise I would imagine are fine.

they're 90K mile old 1.2 16V shafts, fine so far!
