172 Throttle bodies BenR

What type of throttle bodies are used in the Clio Cup Racers?

Single bore? Twin bore? Direct to body?

Ive found a place in SA which does this kind of work and I would like to know what Im looking for exactly before I ask.

cup racers use the std engine.

Jenvey are very reputable and a top quality company here, they supply almost all of the BTCC and most people running TBs run jenveys.......go for it.

Youll want to swap to quad bodies (one per cylinder) and youll need an inlet manifold to mate it, no direct to head.

hi mate i have just got a 172 a fue weeks ago the bloke b4 me has spent ££££s on it and it has the alpha webbers on it +a nos kit on it the bill was not far off 5gs and it was done at prima .

the only thing bad about them is you become good frends with the oil companys im getting about 20mpg on a good day! but if you 50ish bhp gains do it

hi lads been on my hols and yes i am still around sorry i have no digital camera but im trying to get some pics sorted put it this way there is a lot of bits removed for the job . and the fillters are very close to the rad and some other pipes not very tidy but it works well . im not from prima im based in lincs.

has any one got a b&m short shifter i have a bit of a job to get in to 5 sometimes? on mine
