172 to 182 manifold probs...

I’ve just fitted a 182 manifold to my 172 cup and it performs amazingly!! So much better!!

The thing is, when i leave the car overnight and then start it in the morning (cold start) it takes a while to start, it does start everytime, just turns over more than usual. However when its warm, it starts on the first key turn?!

I’ve got the car chipped but not remapped for the new manifold

Any ideas as to whats causing this???

Wouldn't that effect the cars start when its warm as well though?

How long did it take you to fit the manifold lad? Heard it was a reet pain in the arse!

Yeah took about a day mate, from 10 til about 6, I went down to my mechanics place so I had all the bits and bobs, plus to ramp helped as well! It spits and bangs as well now which is a right result!!

Any other ideas as to the prob of cold starts?
