what is everyones opinion on the "real" 0-60 time of the mark 2 172 ?

how accurate is the Manus figures - My dealer (renault) reckons they are .5 sec off the real time .

Anyone ?

mk1 - I think as low as 6.8

mk2 - I think 6.9

cup - 6.7 or even as low as 6.6

Dont quote me though as Ive just tried to remember what Ive read on the forum.

Ive personally gotten 7.9 when the tested average by car mags here was 8.4. (4900ft above sealevel)

cup is 5.8 and 172 3.4 ha ha..depends on the driver mate..what fuel you have etc

EVO quotes 6.5 for the cup, and 7.1 for the 172 (MK2) as a time they recorded from the cars they had on test.

As CUPPY says, depends on too many variables for it to mean that much
