Hi I have a phase one 172..undergoing a Turbo Conversion..is there anybody that has had this done if so...can u tell me how they Perform???

From Berkshire too. Whereabouts mate?

Legohead (Dave) is just up the road and has a very quick 182 turbo.

Its worth pming him...
 
Hey thanks guys....i'll be running t28..turbo..front mount intercooler...looking at 260/270 bhp...and same on torque..

Went out in Ryan K's last night, massive wave of torque when the car finally hooked up in the slimey conditions, ESP was going nuts though so it'll be interesting without

What susp setup are you running + brakes?
 
Hi...Running 260bhp BBPT Kit.....Ceramic Disc's and mintex pads alround...braided lines through out!!

Polyurethane wishbone and roll bushes..also engine stabilliser.....spax susp....lot's more..!!!..

Will be ready to go Scooby hunting!! at the Crimbo meet in Stains....

Forgot to mention...iv got a Polished and ported 182 inlet manifold and throttle body..not even been on car, plus a CDA induction kit..also will have a performance 2inch stealth zorst..cat back...offers!!

You just get a load of wheelspin, need to be careful or you end up on the wrong side of the road! :S And I bet mines not running anywhere near 260hp!!! I think you'll be lucky to get near that with a T28.

Iv had mine turbo'd runs well but its not the best on the box and shafts my sic was going anyway but not its worse. great fun though :)

Now i've had my 172 turbo back a month...and achieved wot i wanted..would anybody...be willing to swop her???...offer's??? she aint for the faint hearted...272bhp!!!!!
