172 tyre presures - again..

I know its been talked about before but just got all 4 tyres fitted - Contisports - whats the best psis guys?

Manual says 33psi fronts and 31psi rears.

I run 34 front and 32 back.

A couple of psi more in the front than the back, but have a play and see what you think is best, its not as hard and fast a rule as people make out.

Ive run 38/36 way down to 32/30 (for that more sqidgy feel LoL)

Never had any problems running as the manual states.

True, like everything its down to personal taste/driving style.

I run mine 31/29 on the Cup. It feels a bit slippy at 34 +. You can only try and see what you prefer. Thats on contis by the way. Gets a good grip of Scotland!

Im also on the original Contis and second the pressures MAC30L is using. Definitely feels a bit slippy and skittish on 35 Front 31 Rear on twisty roads. When I dropeed the pressures, I noticed a definite improvement in handling. I use a higher pressure for motorway driving. Like has been said above, best way is to suck it and see!
