172 v 182

sorry to be a bit in the dark here but :

what is the main differences between the 172 mk2 and 182 ?

i know about the rear exhausts but what is the reason that you guys on here sold your 172s to buy the 182 ?

is the performance the same as the 172 or better (e.g faster 0-60 time )

^^ what he said. If you have a 2 or 3 year old 172 and youre happy with it, its the logical choice. You cant buy a 172 anymore, so the 182 is the only game in town. Dont think anyone changed just for the extra 10bhp.

182=182bhp

Slightly different trims...i.e. different seat belt colours and headlamp colour... Different wheels and of course no cup version out yet for the 182. But u can get a cup pack for the 182.

Tbh if i were to list all the diffrences we would be here all day.

Nearly every aspect of the drive train has been altered in some way and all the trim changes are in line with 2004 models.
