bit of a stupid comment eh ??^^, try puting a larger equivelent engine into the clio (say a 2.6) then race them
Yeah its a stupid question really isnt it?
quote "Both cars unmodified (except the corsa with the bigger engine ) ", you can not much more MODIFIED than sticking a bigger engine in your car...LOL
I agree with you, put a bigger engine in the clio and see....
Simon.

Vauxhalls and corners dont get on very well!!!
What, unlike the upteen valver owners on here whove slapped 2ltr bottom ends on yet still have them insured as 1.8s? Dont see anyone having issues with them yet if its a corsa its a different story. People will always try and get away with stuff like that - if you dont agree then fair enough but calling someone scum/gimp is a bit harsh IMO...have none of you ever bent the rules?Quote: Originally posted by brazo on 06 December 2004

Becuase effectivly said child will be uninsured and will join the ranks of the many uninsured drivers who push up our premiums every year. Scum is a more apt term!
Yeah but a Valver to a Willy engine isnt that much difference really. Also a valver can take the power with proper brakes ect. Still they shouldnt do it!Quote: Originally posted by u33db on 06 December 2004

True, but at the end of the day theyre still breaking the law arent they? Point im making is the double standards attitude going down - the vauxhall mob are just as guilty as us at doing daft things (and ill include myself in that) so were hardly in a position to make sweeping statments. IMO some people should get a grip - we just drive clios after all and can do equally illeagal things...Quote: Originally posted by Tom16v on 06 December 2004

A corsa with a 2.0 is a big difference as the biggest engined one they did was a 1.6 16v. Also they have sh*t brakes ect
Im not being car(ist) same to any valver owner!!!Quote: Originally posted by u33db on 06 December 2004
