172 wheels on dynamique

Bought some 172 mk2 wheels and had them fitted onto my 1.2 16v, the people who fitted them said they werent rubbing atall but were close to the suspension arms and that i might need spacers.

I have had the car lowered 35mm on Pi srpings and it still doesnt seem to rub but i have read in lots of places that spacers are needed, is this true?

you do need 5 mm spacers mate.

if i need spacers why cant i hear any rubbing then?

Nope you only need spacers for the back wheels I think but it will probably depend how much weight you have in it and lowering etc.

Most car modifying places IE Demon Tweeks should sell them.
