i have recently purchased a set of bsa infinity alloys and i am trying to fit them to my mk2 172. they are a perfect match for the 4 studs, but unfortunately they rub on the break calipers. . . both front and back. i have tried some universal spacers with no success. and i am opting for the hubcentric spacers to eliminate wobble in the wheels. what i need to know is, if i get 16mm spacers will the wheels rub on the inside of my sills? the car is not lowered as of yet so im not sure if the suspension will even let the wheels go so high as to rub. anyone have any ideas on the sill clearance?
