172 wheels

hi, just wondering if 172 wheels will fit straight onto a mk1 clio 1.2 or will i need spacers for them or something.

I think you'd need spacers mate as the 172 wheels have a much higher offset so would catch on your suspension without spacers,10mm whould sort it,but dont skrimp on spacers get some hubcentric ones

My mate has a Ph1 1.2 with Ph2 172 wheels on it. He gets minor scrubbage with 1 person in the back round roundabouts. It's not lowered

btw - im talkign about the mk1 phase 1/2/3 clio.

i want the wheels from the mk2 phase 2 clio 172.

^^ that must look extremely high without being lowered!

i had them on my mk1 ph3 lowered 60mm, after afew very small adjustments they were fine
