172 with mods vs std cooper s

Modded 172 - no probs really. They are fairly close as standard but the 172 will nip it. My mate has the 'Supercharged' Cooper S and I took him out in the Clio after I just bought it. His face dropped!

On the other hand, with a girl driving......just kidding!

Just add my two pence worth! my Bro in law followed me in my 172 cup to Castle combe through lanes in his cooper S two weeks later he had a 182 says it all. Thought the Cooper S was a good drive though when i drove it even though Im an old mini nut but it dont come close to my '64 MK1 cooper S

when my cup was standard i beat both the cooper s and a civic type r no probs you should easy nail it and second she's a girl she wont take it past 5000 rpm any way
