172 xenon headlight problem

Car  Clio Sport
Hello everyone, New to the site and the 172 :)

I have a Clio Sport 172 in iceberg silver (like everyone else lol)

Well I took my new toy for its MOT on saturday and the N/S headlight was aimed a little high so the tester adjusted accordingly using the little withe allan key adjuster, since then the motor is clicking when the ignition is on even without the headlights being on? I have had a look and adjusted the headlight up and down and bakc to where it is ment to be but cant seem to stop the noise it isnt doing anything though.

Has any one got any idea why it is doing this/ how to stop it?

Thank you, Chris.

Stumped tbh, erm try swapping the adjusters to see if it does it in the other light. Would probably say the adjusters knackered can't really think of anything else.

Cheers will try that, I would imagine that it will be a nice cheap part from renault though with there amazingly low prices...:D

How do you unplug this adjuster cos I cant find any obvious sockets for it and I don't want to break it?

Has any one else had this problem by the way?

It unclips, theres a bit of plastic to the right of it as you look at the back of the headlight that you need to level to the right and turn the adjuster to release it. Be careful though and don't snap it off and it if fiddly. Have a look and understand what I mean first, don't go bull at a gate with it.
