182 4th gear issue

During my trip to Germany last week I noticed when cruising in 5th for a while then wanting to change down to 4th it was particularly hard to do. However once engaged it was fine after that! Just not ideal when wanting to drop down fast! Only happens when sitting cruising in 5th continiously.

So 182's/172's have linkage issues?

It's French? Lol.

Wouldn't be anything to do with a worn dog bone mount would it? although generally that normally effects 3rd gear and reverse.
