182 5th Gear RPM.......

Does anyone know how many RPMs a 182 is showing on the tachometer, when travelling at 75mph on her majestys highways?

Just under 3.5k if i remember right,could be wrong though.

my astra does around 3250rpm at 75mph, i know they obviously arent comparisons, just interesting to know

Reckon my speedos out,4k in 5th is over 80 in mine

Its like 60mph=just under 3000 and 80mph=just under 4000

As above. 80 mph is a horrible speed to cruise at in the RSs ( Mk1 not so bad, but at the price of acceleration). A dull drone.... Annoying on a long haul.

about 3750 ish, 4k rpm is about 82/83 on the speedo, nae the best, but better than some diesel drone!!!

My Cup sits at just above 3.5k when at 75 in 5th.

I find the car noisier at 75 than 90.It must be the exhaust..I had an RS1800 fiesta years ago that was crap at 65-70 but over 80 went really quiet
