182 alarm

hi guys just picked up my 182 on fri , must say v impressed ! just a little confused about the alarm ! does it have 1 (because i carnt see any sensors or owt)

Yes it has a cat 1 alarm provided you brought it as an official import.

yes at the top of the A pilars!

Like Pete says they are an afterfit (done by Renault UK) at the top of the A pillar.

If you dont haver those (cant miss them) you probably dont have the alarm.

Leave a window open and lock the car, wait a minute then stick your arm in and see if you wake the neighbours.

nah mate twas an import , theres no alarm on it cheers lads question answerd!

u can get a cobra upgrade for the standard immobiliser. 200 quid fitted i paid. works of the standard key fob.

Not so.

My insurance co didnt care that it had no alarm, as long as it had f/f immobiliser.

same here although i still put a Cat 1 clifford on it aswell
