182 alloys refurb

Took car in to see about getting wheels refurbed. Hey said they couldn't garauntee that they could colour match the centre caps with the powder coat colour since the centre caps can't be powder coated.

What's other folks experiences of getting 182 wheels refurbed. Similar issues? Any way round it?

seen it allot before. powder coating will not stick to plastic and the curing process will warp them with heat. only way around it is to spray paint the caps, but even then its hard to ' match ' the shades of the colour
