182 alloys

  2004 renault clio dci65
I have recently bought a set of 182 cup alloy wheels for my car but I'm worried they won't fit. I drive a 1.5 2004 dci65 Clio and am wandering whether I will need a new hub, and also whether my wheel arch is big enough.

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks.

They should be fine, i have them on my 1.4 and they are ok bar the passanger rear corner. That side will rub if you corner fast enough, havn't had any signs of rubbing on any other wheel :p

What profile tyres do you have and have you not kept the rolling radius the same? I may be wrong but surely that would mean they would fit like my standard wheels atm

When i got them they had 195/45/R16's on them (Aparently for track use) but i use 205/45/R16's on them on at the moment, and i used an online calculator and found the radius had dropped slightly knocking my speedo my 0.05%. Other than the rubbing on one side and a slighly pecamistic MPG reading they are ok. If you want to be sure use an online tyre calculator and it will tell you the change :D

Using standard springs and no lowering, im sure the DCI has slightly firmer springs anyway so you might not see any of the rubbing i have.
