182 Brake servo not working

My car failed its MOT on the servo not working today. I haven't driven it for 6 months and only just put a new battery on it.

Any reasons why it would of just stopped working? or anything to get the garage to check.

Any help would be great

look for splits or melted sections of the vacuum hose (it gets close to the exhaust manifold) Also, there's a 1 way valve which could be clogged up

Ok apparently it turns out that the servo is f**ked although the car has been stood for 6 months

What would i bee looking at normally for this to be replaced. I am getting a quote tomorrow but dont want to be screwed over
