182 bumper on a 172?

wonder if anyone could help i have been looking at 182's to buy and i checked insurance on one was over 3k due to the fact im 18 and i aint paying that, i can have a 172 for a reasonable amount a year, how hard would it be to put on a 182 bumper and the full exhaust to go with it? will a 182 bumper fit straight onto a 172? has anyone done it on here? cheers lee

bumper fits, exhaust doesn't (no spare wheel well on a 182)
Don't bother with fake 182 look exhausts. 172's are cooler anyway

Keep it standard, stealth exhaust, looks better than the rear of a 182 imo.

boot floor is in the way, you can get round that though if you really want the wheelbarrow look.
