182 cant get in!!!HELP!!!

A mate of mine can't get into their 182. They have tried both key's and neither deactivate alarm/open doors and when opening passenger door with key the alarm goes off.

Any ideas?

yes light is coming on -on both keys.

duff car battery? does the engine crank?

i wouldnt have thought the alarm would go off if battery was dead?

Oh it will, trust me, I've been that person at 3am connecting a battery charger to disable the alarm.

I set mine off at Dave Walkers when it was being mapped and it wouldn't shut up no matter what i did. Two 13mm bolts off, sniped the sounder and dropped it in a bucket of water... silence!
