Out of curiosity, how do you tell?

The front end on that pic looks very high.

It's got the cup badges on the door pillars and the headlight washer blanking plates. It is missing the rear spoiler, but if it is a cat D as asked in another thread it could have been a rear shunt. As for the front splitter - lots go missing as stated above.
Just for the oddness of it though, I'd walk away unless the seller told you everything upfront and you were looking for a cheap car with no interest in resale.

Cat D was stolen Recovered.
There was no accidental damage, except ... Bumper was stolen, exhaust, side skirts and steering wheel. The guy bought it salvage with 7,000 miles on the clock and it now has 11,000.
Im guessing the rear spoiler got pinched too!? And when he put a new front bumper back on he didnt put the lip spoiler on!?
Now, this car isnt far from me, i want something alittle newer than my 91 valver. I have my Brooklands mk1 hybrid but i want a little more reliable day to day car.
