182/CUP springs fit a ph2 172?

Hi guys -I'm back! Just picked up an 02-reg phase 2 172 tonight. It's been lowered 40mm, and it does crash slightly on the rough stuff, so I'm thinking of putting it back on standard springs but:

Rather than fitting stock 172 springs, I wondered if springs from a 172 CUP, 182 or 182 CUP would also fit?

Any advantages in fitting the springs from a "better" model to my lowly 172?
