182 cup springs on a full fat 172

miketheman2k is selling the springs from his 182 cup. I am willing to buy them as long as they fit my car, and I wont experience any problems with fitment. Does anyone know if they will fit, and if they are compatible with standard 172 shocks?

and i'll have no problems with the shocks? any idea on what the ride and handling will be like? fitting PE2's aswell.

personally i wouldn't do what you are doing, but i'm a hardcorist (Fred's new word of the week!!)

PE2 - crap

suspension will be fun though, 172 shocks will be fine with 182 springs

can get them fitted for £68 so the wallet is dictating over GSD3's....

already had the arguments for and against, but still willing to take advice on anything a hardcorist recommends! thought about changing to 205/45/16's too. would this be any better.

fun as in handling wise? after a bit more firmness in the ride. a previous car was a racing puma so not worried about it being too stiff!!!

tyres, go for 205/45 16 Yoko Pradas, awesome

it won't be stiff at all, but you'll be able to chuck it sideways at will
