182 Cup Suspension - did they fit it

Car  Mondeo STTDCI

Im still considering getting a 182 ( I WILL get it, just need to wait a month or two before ordering).

However ppl keep pissing on my bonfire by saying on here how do you KNOW it has the Cup suspension?

Surely by now somebody can tell me a way to be sure?! please?!

Sorry mate ,not trying to upset you but id be much happier knowing i could point to something and say "thats how you know"

If it has the anthracite (grey) alloys instead of silver ones then you can be pretty damn sure it has the Cup suspension fitted...

I have to say I was wondering that also! Mine has the cup pack with the grey alloys but going off some of the posts in here about renault "they could forget ?? or make a mistake and put the standard suspension on... couldnt they?

Is there any way you can see visually? maybe a part number or something?

relax, if the wheels are not the standard silver then it has cup suspension

If you can, put it next to a 182 without the cup suspension, the dealer near me had on of each in; the cup suspension is visually lower

hes got a good point. If the only way u can tell is the alloys Id be saying the same thing...

Viv....can you imagine not coming across a standard one for oooh, lets say the first 1000 miles. Then you find no difference!

You reckon Reno would bother to retro-fit it or to give you a new car? I reckon theyd just try and give you the £200 odd you paid for it and say "Sorry"!
