182 Cup...what upgrades?

  Peddled device
I've a 182 Cup in RB on 25k.I have had a re-map and also fitted the front seats and steering wheel from a FF 182. I need a front splitter,a few dings removing (£30 from a guy l know) and a damn good clean and polish.Everything else is standard.

I was thinking about lowering it a little (can this be done without fitting anything new?) and maybe trying to get a little more power from the engine.

What upgrades do you recommend?

  ITB BG 182
air filter or induction kit, decat pipe, eibach sport line springs would be the cheapest of options.

  Better than yours. C*nt.
Headlights out of a FF.

Where they could deem those as 'weight reduction' I don't know. I think the total difference in weight is equivalent to my testicle.

It's a pain in the ass reduction. Cheaper to spec. originally (the whole point of the Cup), cheaper to replace and you don't have to worry about your head light washers giving up the ghost. Win win win.

If you're lowering it, go the whole way and get some coilovers. It's one of the best mods you can do, mainly for handling and looks as well. My 1.2 was so much fun jst because it had coilovers, not having to break round corners, just felt like it was on rails.

  Italian 3.2 V6
ENGINE
-Ktec pannel filter
-Ktec Zorst system
-JMS Matched Inlets
-JMS custom map

CHASSIS
-Brembo HC disks
-Ferrodo DS2500 Pads
-Braided Brake Lines
-Pe2 tyres
-Second hand H&R coilovers or other top notch coilovers!

^^ Best Bang for Buck mods that can be done

Wouldn't bother with engine mods. Lots of cash for very little difference. Brakes/suspension/decent seats are where your cash should go.

I agree.Would have to spend a few grand to really up the performance.I already have seats l'm happy with and have just fitted new fronts discs and pads so with no increase in power l'm happy with them.

The car will be 5 years old in March so time for the belts etc.It has a very slight oil leak on the top cover which means changing the belts if it's sorted out...and it's a year since it's last oil change. So with all that in mind this is what l'm thinking...

Eibach Sportline springs from K-Tec
K-Tec panel filter
36,000 mile service (with new spark plugs)
All of the above at Birchdown

Panel dings sorted (£30)
A fooking good polish and vac out

That could cost nealy a grand l think but if l did sell the car then at least it will be worth top value.
