182 dash mileage

hi all
i wish to change the dash leds on my 182, i have picked up a spare dash off ebay but does anyone know if the mileage is stored in an eeprom chip on the dash or is is stored in ecu and sent to dash pcb as i obviously want mileage to stay the same, thanks.

its stored on eeprom on the clocks , can be corrected ive had mine done cost £50 trade

thanks for your quick reply john, also does anyone have a pinout of the rear connectors as i wish to put 12v on pcb to check leds on bench, thanks.

hi thanks all for your replys, i am trying to find out which chip stores the mileage so i can change it off my original dash as i have surface mount soldering equipment, anyone any idea which ic it is?
