182 decat noise

hey everyone, new to cs, just gt a 182 ff, and put a BMC on it, will putting just decat on make a performance differance without the rest of the system, and will make any sound differance?

Won't make any noticeable difference, Will make the Exhaust note a little louder and and Raspier in my Experience, I had a K+N 57i on at the time and it sounded awesome when on Full Throttle
