182 decat?

hi guys i pick my 182 up tomorrow. it has a janspeed stainless exhaust on at the moment with no silencer in and it sounds nice. not to lout. the car has the cat on. the bloke i bought it off has given me a decat pipe with the car i was just wondering how much difference it will make to the sound, and performance?

Ive got a janspeed with no center silencer and I used to have it decat, I put the cat back on though as it was quite embarrasing to drive, sounded like a 17 year olds chavs machine tearing through the streets lol. In other words, loud.

However the engine did seem to rev up free er , wouldn't say it was a massive difference tho

I had the same setup. On the motorway it was quite boomy, however on a blast out into the country, it sounded epic!

To many people worry about what people think...... the de-cat was a great mod for the 17poo. Free'd it up a treat, It's been on now for 4 years and aint coming off.
