182 delay, AGAIN!!

heard from dealer, 182 delayed agin, was feb 4, then 11th ,now week after, anybody else getting delay again and again, .

Ive just worked it out, there isnta 182 really, theyve just made it up.

this is our first reno, theyre not that bad are they!!

I managed to find out from my dealer today that they expect it some time after the 16th of Feb (after an original delivery date of shortly after the 21st of Jan), and I only had to ring the dealer 3 times and a journey down there to get that out of them.

Heres looking forward for some top notch after sales service coming up!

mine was originally 21st jan but last I heard it was 26th Feb which would be just in time for the new reg assuming it doesnt slip again!

Jeremy, any idea when the first shipment will reach dealers so that I can see one in the flesh? Am I likely to get mine for 1st March if I was one of the first to order?

weve been waiting for a 172 since july, then xchanged to a 182 when we were supposed to be picking it up, i think theyve told us all we were the first to order/ first to get.



at lease everypone is getting excited about them

Spoke to Renault yesterday and mine is still due for the 25th Feb, heres hoping!

Seems a bit daft anyone taking delivery before 1st March. Might as well wait and have an 04 plate on it. Be interesting to see how reliable and well made these 182s are.

what would make them any less reliable or well made?

i wouldnt expect them to be any better built

Im taking 1st March delivery, if it comes in on 25th then they have to register and tax it and do the pre delivery thing so it wouldnt be ready until the Monday anyway, which is the 1st March. I am sure that is going to slip again though anyway so im not too hopeful for that date!

Just been told that car HAS left the factory and is on way to customs where it will spend a few days, and then take a few days to get to the dealer, so expect it next week...not holding my breath though!! Mines sold and being collected this sunday, so how long im without a car is in Renaults hands
