182 Engine Idle!?!?!

Just picked up my 182 last weekend and have noticed it idles at only 500 revs!! Is this normal??? It doesnt stall but does vibrate a bit intermittently. Should i get it looked at???

Sounds quite normal to me, my dads car (a mk2 172 though) idles about that & is a bit lumpy on tick over, loads of others on here are too.

I noticed mine only idles at 500rpm as well & it`s died a few times while driving, okay mines not a 182 but it`s close enough. Had a ECU readout done & it was showing a misfire. A couple of garages reckon the coil packs on it`s way out & cheap plugs are f*****g it up. Probably summat completely different with it being a 182.

It should idle at 700rpm +/- 50

So mine is fairly low then!!! Should get it checked out?
