182 engine management light and whistle

Today after a 105 or so mile journey the car was fine, started it up again to pickup someone from the train station. But when I was going to leave, the engine management light came on (Orange in lower right hand corner of dash) and I also noted what sounds like whistling when you apply any amount of throttle. Any idea what could be up? There was a f**king huge speedbump right before the train station car park but I can't see any immediate damage at the rear end of the exhaust system or directly on the cat.

Oil change and filter was also done on Wednesday with total 5w40 oil.

could anyone shed some light On this? Thanks

whistle is generally sign of an air leak.

Could that be a cause of the emissions light coming on?

not known of one throwing a management light and not sure if just an air leak would? easiest way is to get it plugged in and read codes.
