182 exhaust end

Car  Vantage
i currently have a orignal 182 exhaust on my car, i wanted to change the ends of the exhaust as i want it to fit the gap in the rear bumper, can anyone tell me if this is possible? and were i could get it from?

i think the stainless end of the exhaust (the visible bits) aren't welded on, so in theory you probably could.

I asked the same question before chopping my 182 in for a 197 last week, went to my local Powerflow exhaust center and they said its too much agro to cut the tips off and put new ones on.... Not saying its impossible but the exhaust fitter said its a pain so maybe you could if someone was willing to do it

They are too small to completely fill the hole anyway, unless you mean changing them completely rather than adjusting them. Best bet (if you have the cash) is to get a decent aftermarket exhaust.

+1

Saves you in the long run from buying a new zaust as the standard zausts are made of cheese plus it'll sound much better too
