u do know its not a direct swop, itll bolt on fine, but the lengths are wrong so u`ll need to weld parts near the cat to get the correct length for the 172

oh yeah thats no probs, was just worried as it looks very tight to get the manifold in, down the back of the engine. Wondered if the inlet or anything had to come off

172rich- pm johnc. he had the same thing done. Was a piece of cake, jus needed a joining piece made up to meet the two sections.

Sounds like a pain to fit, might just sell it lol.

Is it not possible to do without removing the sub frame?

Why do you say its not worth it?

Is the engine connected to the subframe?

Gain arn't huge but its not bad val compared to other tunning if you do the work yourself or garage does it cheap.

Subframe off only a few bolts hold it on and the manifold goin up the gap. The only other way is engine out which is a lot lot more work.

You need a cat/decat making to fit as the 182 one or the 172 won't fit you ned to baodge one to make it fit.

The subframe doesnt have to be taken off, only the rear end of it dropped about 15cm.

You just need to make the gap slightly larger to squeeze it out.
