182 Exhaust Problems

My CAT on the Trophy is stuffed so im needing some good advice on what i should / can do to get it back on the road and sounding nice and quiet rather than like a old ford transit with 300K on the clock.

My CAT is cracked and i need to fix it ASAP so im wondering whats the best option?

I have a full MK1 yozza exhaust system and if i was to go for a De-Cat will it be too loud and which will be a direct fit without any modification needing done ?

Am i better off just looking for a second hand 182 CAT ?

2nd hand cat would be what I would do Marc. I picked one up for my trophy for £70.

Used cat and get the end widened and sleeved, and also that of the centre section.

A used cat can be had for around £50 on here.

I just binned a 182 cat last month, it has lay in my folks garage since 07 bagged and boxed, had only done 8k or so, no use now but I would've just given you it gratis, sorry man

I have been hunting for one and the only one i have found is for £170 on ebay and there is no way im paying that when i could go down the de-cat road for 1/4 of the price

I just had a yozza decat fitted and I love it! Sounds awesome. Depends on what you want though.

I really don't know how people can put up with a Yozza system with a cat never mind a Decatted system.
