182 Front Seats

Do they fit Mk2 Ph1 Clio's?

I have been offered 2 front leather/alacantra (sp?) seats for £100 and wondered do they fit in the same brackets?

If not, how hard are the brackets to remove/replace?

Seats will, doorcards won't. Seat airbags won't work, pretensions I don't know.

What are pretensions?

How hard is it to remove and replace the seats?

Seats are held in by 4 bolts underneath the car, they bolt through the floorpan into the subframes.

Pretensioners pull the seatbelt buckle socket down in an accident to tighten the belt to hold you in tight. If you haven't got them now (you might not) then you don't need to worry about them just leave the connector.
I'm assuming you don't have side airbags either, think they only started doing them in the Ph2 onwards.

So it appears I dont really lose anything, will my current subframes be suitable?

You'll be able to use the subframes that are on the seats as the holes will still line up.

I aim to buy them Friday, by the looks of it I will, I assume they are a very god price as I got quoted £400 elsewhere!
