got a tyre well as iv just bought a 182 exhaust system and am now thinking i may have a problem as my 172 has a well

Nope no tyre wall on the 182, so the exhaust doesn't fit 172's.

Can you not chop the tyre well out?
Best thing is sell the zorst you have and get one for a 172

K-tec do a 182 style one for a 172. I'd maybe sell the 182 exhaust & not mess around with the car.
