182 Head Unit

when I get my 182 I want to connect a Sony 6 mini-dsic changer to the standard head unit. I emailed a company for a price and they asked me what the make and model number for the head unit was, anybody know?

Forget it Renault like being difficult most units dont work.

If you fancy having a go with a soldering iron you could give it a go to make your own wire up but otherwise forget it.

Get a different head unit or a proper Renault CD changer have a look on the for sale area people have them for sale now and again.

Just make sure you get the cd changer cable as well dont accept a cut one as there £80 odd quid for a new one and you cannot get them any cheaper.

Thanks guys, but if someone knows the make and model number of the head unit then I can find out whether the Sony 6 mini disc changer will work.
