182 heavy knocking noise at stationary

Hi guys! Hope you can help!

Have a 182 and after buying the car as noisy, was informed dephaser etc needed doing (as expected)

Had all that done, and car is a lot quieter... although there is still a really heavy knocking coming from the engine. Seems to be when stationary mainly but happens in gear as well as neutral.

When it's bad it literally shakes the at, but I've had no problems starting etc, and the Rev counter stays pretty still (whereas in previous cars if idle isn't right it jumps all over)

Any ideas?

Who did the belts... didn't they investigate/advise you?

Had it done at Renault Specialists Four Ashes. To be honest, they didn't say anything about it when I picked it up. I'm going to call then tomorrow and ask them to take another look as I'm not happy but just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas what might be causing it.

If it's shaking the entire car it sounds pretty serious and so an obvious problem should be an easy spot. I'd deffo ask them if they spotted anything else whilst doing the belts
