182 help

Hi new member here.

Im about to order a 182 from Renault and the dealers are clueless! Does anyone have some pics of the Clio with and without the cup spoiler pack? Ive looked everywhere and all the pics look the same.

Also should I get the stripes or not?

The spoiler pack is a must in my opinion. If you dont get those cup packs you will regret it forever and given the low cost you might as well get them. No arguements, no discussion just get them end of story.

The stripes will attract vandals if you ask me. Also when you come up behind flash cars like TTs etc they will see the stripes and know you have a 182. Id rather they felt humiliated in thinking its a standard 1.2 glued to their bumper...

Ive got the stripes on mine and ive yet to see another one on the road, gets lots of attention as well, not so sure that thats a good thing!! Theyre not everyones cup of tea granted, if you dont like them you can always take them off - got the dealer to chuck them in

yep agree with what you say about people knowing what the car! it is quite funny when cars move out of the way assuming you want to fly past

There was a "Petrol blue" one in Renault, Preston today awaiting its new owner. The poor sods going to be gutted as it was horrible and nothing like the colour in the brochure. And it was a £1000 option!

The colour is actually darker in real life than any of the photos but still spot on

as above, I couldnt get the spolier pack as I ordered carminat sat nav, (different antenna so spolier not allowed as it would touch).

Others on here have had them fitted afterwards though, I like the rear standard spoiler, with the smoked rear light. Not sure if Im getting spoliers yet. Got suspension pack though as you can clearly see.

182 blue as far as I recall no that is standard, remember only 3mm difference gonna have to be close to tell!

(on a similar note my drivers side is lower than my passengers at the rear, ive said this beofre and people said its not. I can easily get my wrist under rear passenger but not rear drivers!)

it just looks lower than ours thats all, speaking of renault build quality ??, do both your doors fit flush to the car, or is on slightly more prominent than the other ?

I have this too, when washing the car I an get the hose pipe head under the one wheel arch at the rear and not the other one.

I dont have the spoiler pack, bought mine 1500 miles old and the only thing i REALLY wanted was the suspension pack as you cant just do that yourself. The spoiler pack tho Ive already got the splitter from someone on this good forum for £70 and some time I might get around to the rear spoiler...

Coilovers will be better than the Cup suspension pack just wait for them.

Thats mine pictured without Cup packs.

Bought as an import and dealer didnt have the option.

But i plan to do the following:

1) Wheels - Upgrading to some better looking ones(std are okay for now!)

2) Suspension - Either coilovers or Eibach Susp

3) Front Splitter - Already got Carbon Fibre one from KTEC



Other wise very happy with it
