182 idle speed

Does anyone know what a 182 should idle at mine is running at about700-800 when stationary

the car feels like its missing. Dealer checked it over and said its because of reduced emissions on idle !!

car revs and pulls smoothly upto top speed ( on a track of course )

does anyone have the same problem ?

Would have thought just under 1000 rpm would be pretty normal

800-900 is normal..

Should sound like a bucket of bolts when idling cold.

Your dealer isnt lying

Rpm should be 700 +- 50rpm.

However if the batterys low or the throttle potentialmeter misreads on one of its tracks or battery is low voltae or other things then it can increase. I think the higest it should be is 1.1k
