182 jumped out of gear, possibly.

182. Just changed the Dogbone mount. I hasten to say there was absolutely nothing whatsoever up with the old one, thus no underlying symptoms...

I took it to a garage and for whatever reason they could only get the big bush in.

I was driving the car and had it in reverse, and was backing up very very slowly. There was a tiny noise and the car seemed to ever so slightly be knocked out of reverse. I then put the clutch in and back into reverse and all was fine. It hasn't done this again or had any other problems at all, whatsoever.

Monday, the other bush is going in. I was just wondering whether having a powerflex bush and a standard bush in the small one could cause this as it's never happened before.

Thanks.

I'd say it's just coincedence tbh mate. Having the standard small bush in the front of the dogbone will actually help reduce some of the vibration in car. I used to run mine like that without issue on my road cup.
Regards jumping out of reverse, I wouldn't be worrying. If it starts jumping out of forward gears I'd consider being concerned.
