182 mani on a 172. Bits needed - clarification...?

got 182 mani and 172 to 182 decat section, do i really need this http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2335

or can i just chance it that 'joe public' exhaust gaff will have the necessary bits to do it?

You dont need that stuff. Any good exhaust fitting garage can make anything you want fit to an exhaust system. When i get my 182 exhaust manifold my mechanic friend who is a top dog at welding is modifying my centre section(shortening) for me so that we can just bolt the 182 mani straight in, no messing about!
Out of interest how much did you pick your 182 mani up for? Cheapest 2nd hand ones from breakers i have been finding are like £200+ delivered

All thats alerady on the exhaust you have fitted

I would definately recommend also installing the fitting kit. It is not an expensive part and alot of ahassle to fit at a later date. I would also fit a new manifold to head gasket.

Its already there though, unless the bolts get stripped or you lose any of it I don't see the need to buy another. Yes replace the gasket though. certainly cheaper than 25 quid
