182 Mats

  HyperAlloy Combat Chassis
Any recommendations for mats? I bought a set of generic cannon mats in halfords.....good mats but didn't fit. Swapped them for a set of cannons that specifically stated they fitted Clios.....still didn't fit. I've just tried to fit a custom set from carmats4u, still don't fit!! ARRRGGG

i got some plain black ones from wilko, look the biz, run a dyson over them and there back to new, wer only £15 fit is perfect suprisingly and if they start to look tatty you can afford to bin em.

note: i do not shop at wilko's and dont endorse any other product other than the plain black car mats lol.

I ended up getting some Renault Rubber ones for mine as they are so much easier to keep clean, cost about 17 quid and fit spot on.

i have the same as r-jay,like he says fit perfect but they are not actually listed as 182 mats, just clio mats

Came as a fell set. Two fronts and 2 smaller rears. I only used the 2 fronts as I rarely carry and rear seat passengers, as I use my 306 if I need the extra space.

One dealer told me they would'nt fit the 182 due to its different floor pan PMSL and refused to order them!

Cost 18 quid - 7701416258. Dont look very special but are ideal this time of year.

Cheers. Yeah I'm fed up of trying to hoover the mud off my carpet mats, and these seem ideal. I don't have my 306 to carry people around in anymore

They work well, brush off and a wipe with a damp cloth and there all done.

When I am in the 306 I mostly wish I was in the 182!

My first one was an Xsi which I sold for the 182 after 4 years, like yours faultless. The 1.4 LX aint quite as fun!

I got a front door mat in mine from ikea! It's not one of them brown straw ones before you ask. It's black with little bits of blue in it!

all for 59p!! now that's a bargain!

i have had a set of justmatz mats in my 182 for about a year now, they still look good as new after a quick hoover, and fit really well.

not the cheapest things in the world, but worth it i reckon!

  soon to be a 200
I have got some pics of my new mats but being a numbnut i can't get them on here can i send to some one who can .

My Trophy has got grey Renault mats in. When I asked the salesman he said there's only one design of mat for the Clio, and it's the one that's in there!?!?

When I bought my Clio, the driver's mat had a hole in, so the dealer replaced the whole set, but not with the Reanault Sport ones - with some from a bog-standard Clio. They're dark gray, with a light gray check pattern. They're not bad, but I'm a bit peeved that I don't have the proper ones!

I phoned the dealer and they got a set of the £18 jobs in the next day, they look just the ticket.

I emailed carmats4u and got a phone call back from some woman with poor customer service skills (I think is the polite way of putting it). She was trying to tell me that it was my fault and I had ordered the wrong mats. She said I must have a Mk3 clio as this model came out in 2004  and it was my fault as I had ordered for a 2005 clio. I also didn't notify them within 48 hours of the problem as stated on the invoice (which is b****cks, they can't over rule my consumer rights). "In this case they would make an exception" and send me a replacement drivers mat for a Mk2.....which is still an appauling fit. I'm going to try returning them tomorrow....I suspect it will be a lot of grief and possibly a trading standards job
