182 NON-CUP bolt spacing

  Clio 182 Sport
Hi guys,

I have done a search on here but couldn't find an answer. I have been searching on the Internet too for ages this morning and still cannot find an answer!

I want to fit coilovers to my 182 so what is the bolt spacing for a Clio 182 NON-CUP?
(And please don't ask me to 'go measure it'! :rasp: )

And... If possible, does anyone know what make of coilovers are available for the 182 non-cup and does anyone know where I can find any that aren't like £700?!

54mm but when you order they the'll know which ones to order.

You havn't spent much time looking though so don't make out that you have.

Gaz coilovers are cheap but since you'r not going to search i'd tell you there rubish.

you need to spend a load on suspension or not at all.

Sorry, no need to be rude! :S

I did search thank you! It's only because I don't use this forum much and you don't really know my username, that is why you are not inclined to help.

And to think that I was told that you would be helpful by someone on here! Well, I have my answer - thank you!

I don't NEED to spend alot on suspension and I can't, I would just like to lower my car...

Get springs, good coilovers are expensive.

And its pointless buying cheap coilovers because;

Theres no such thing.
They would be rubbish.

Spring wise avoid apex, eibach seem to be the best.

He has a point though, people on here dont search hence the repeated topics which are posted day in day out. Not aimed at you bud but but he is right.

Induction kits are ussualy a favourite.

Sorry if it comes accros as rude but I just did a search on the words

182 cup none bolt spacing

and the 5th topic down details what you wanted to know.

Why would I care who you are? Wheather I see you every day (and for all you know I might) or never spoke to you before I'd still say the same think that you didn't search very hard.

I am helpful if you don't belive me do a search on all my answers just to help you you need to go onto this link http://www.cliosport.net/forum/member.php?u=6198 then a bit down the pags see on the left where it says "Find all posts by edde" click that and sit back and have a read. Then you'll maybe get a better idea who I am.

You might not need to spend a lot but no point being cheap IMO.

I have Apex on mine and its a tad too low and the rides a bit choppy, the car came with them so I am living with it till the dampers stat leaking (cos they will) then change them for a set of coilovers either H&R's

In your case I could sort you out with some cheap Gaz coillies which are more than adequete or I'd go for some EIbach Sportlines for comprimised comfort and a slight drop

With all due respect edde it was a genuine mistake I have spoke to her via PM/msn & it was just a newbie error.

Seems like a nice lady too :)

No need to be sorry matey I do know what your getting at. There seems to be a daily "induction kit" topic in the engine section now!! When you say something to them they get argumentative! I like helping people out where I can but when people get arsey it pisses me right off!

So tell mw why they are a poor design?

They are galvernised and have height and rebound rate settings?

I know someone who works for GAZ and I am pretty sure the owner is the guy who used to do all the design work for Leda.

This is not a gripe at anyone but unless you actually can give me substancial evidence and technical reasoning to why they are poor then why make such a comment with no reason why because its pretty useless to me not knowing why Gaz are so poor?
