182 oil, 10w 40?

hi, im going to change the oil on my 182 and after searching and reading a thread edde posted about official renault fluids to be used it seems 10w 40 or 15w 40 fully synthetic is the best oil to use for the 182,

im just wondering which make oil should i go for and where from? and how much will i need to buy and what will it cost?!

renault recommend 5w40 but 10w40 is fine.

I use Elf Excellium 5w40, you will need 5 litres and it cost me £30 from Rentech.

Expect to pay up to around £50 for a good oil. Silkolene Pro is a popular choice on here too.

there is so many diffrent opinions on which grade is best, i was using the chart that is in that thread of edde's. il go with 5w 40 then!

Fubar do rentech sell that stuff or do just sell it if you get your car serviced there?

well Mike has it by the barrel load... he transferred 5 litres into a bottle for me to take away. I did the oil change myself.
